Brittney + Drew are originally from Hawaii, and at all costs wanted to avoid the ocean. I don’t blame them because the beaches in Hawaii are gorgeous, and California just can’t compete. Their engagement session was perfect timing though because thanks to all the rainfall and the disgustingly abnormal freezing cold temperatures in California, the mountains were dressed in white. We sat in a lot of traffic driving up the mountain, but Brittney + Drew were incredibly patient and entertained me with stories of their own and what the future holds of them. After some snow fights in the cold, we went to a spot overlooking the city to catch golden hour. That’s one of the things I love most about Los Angeles: You can be in snow up in the mountains, and within 30 minutes, be standing overlooking the sweet cityscapes in much warmer weather.
