I love traveling. A lot. But sometimes, the process of work and travel together is pretty gruesome, and what really makes your trips are the places you stay at. Because let’s be honest, rest (even if just a little) is important.
I spent some time in Florida recently and had the wonderful opportunity to collaborate with and create content for two awesome hotel properties: one in Key West and one in Miami South Beach.
My favorite things in Key West, at 24 North Hotel, was the ability to explore the key by just hopping on the free shuttle accommodation. And, to end the day on a bike ride around the island was the most relaxing thing in the world.
Two nights in South Beach at Washington Park Hotel just wasn’t enough to explore all that Miami had to offer. But, in my short time there, I got to soak in some sun since the beach with just a couple small blocks away from the hotel. But the best thing about Washington Park were their arcade games. Yes. 90s ARCADE GAMES. Located in the lobbies of each of their building. Elementary school me was jumping for joy, and I actually missed lunch one afternoon because I was too busy playing old school Pac Man. Whoops.
