Leo told me he wanted some portrait photos, except he didn’t specify where when I asked him about the location. He wanted to do the spontaneity thing. You know, hop in a car and just end up somewhere, which I am totally down for. However, I also believe in being prepared when going out to shoot so I specifically asked him if I needed to wear boots or closed toed shoes just in case he wanted to go on a hike or some kind of climb. He said I didn’t need to because it would just be something super casual. I believed him. I should not have believed him. There was definitely incline. We slipped in mud. We had to walk through tons of tall, poking grass. But then there was golden hour so the moral of the story? Much worth.
